I am a two time foster failure, meaning I tried to foster dogs for rescues and ended up keeping them, haha. Sugar Momma was my first dog and angel on earth (pictured left). Even people who feared dogs often loved her. She dressed up on holidays so that people would notice her and give her snacks. Once, she went to South Beach and some diners at an outside table called her over, gave her a piece of fish, and wiped her mouth with their cloth napkin.
Pinky is a bit more of a handful... (pictured right)
I am sharing this image from Fluent Dog because I used to be that person who did not think that much about dog's personal space. Similar to people, some dogs like Pinky need more personal space. While she thinks it is her job to sit on top of me and my computer, Pinky appreciates being consulted before being encroached upon. She needs personal space to enjoy her walks.
